CONSENSUS MADNESS – Endeavors

Chicagoans and dear friends CONSENSUS MADNESS have arrived with a short, sharp shamble of a debut album… sung in provincial Midwest accents of course! A love-letter to proto-punk, first wave, and hardcore punk as a whole. With the infectious nature of their boisterous enthusiasm it would be impossible to not to pogo along to these commoving, raucous tunes. It’s the best way to battle the monotony of the day-to-day grind and the general feelings of absurdity of the world as we know it. ‘Endeavors’ was inspired by a healthy dose of Dangerhouse, UK77, neue deutsche welle, 90s Japanese garage, The Midwest, the grind, and an unending enthusiasm for great music that is still being made in the weird corners of this crazy world. Get timeless! 500 copies on black 140gr vinyl housed in a 24pt reverse board jacket with insert included. Recorded by David Wolf. Mixed by Scott Plant. Mastered by Mikey Young. Photos by Thaib Wahab with art direction by Martin Sorrondeguy.
