CRYPTID SPAWN’S initial offering to the black metal canon is a polarizing but influential mini album comprised of primitive, atmospheric, and evil sounds. ‘Black Phosphorous Dungeon’ punishes the ear-to-brain pipeline with slow, bludgeoning riffs, minimalist drumming, and distorted, bestial vocals.
